Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electronic troubleshooting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems. This role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency as we transition our company into the implementation of automation for our processes. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with standard work hours being Monday-Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electronic systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic issues in machinery, equipment, and systems, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.

Repair Work:

Conduct repairs on a variety of equipment, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repairs and improve system performance.

Upgrades and Modifications:

Assist in the installation and upgrading of new electronic equipment and systems, providing technical support and training as needed.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on electronic troubleshooting.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading electrical schematics, using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic issues.

Communication:

Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

Flexibility:

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 60 lbs). Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights. Willingness to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
