About Us Brookwood Farms is a leading BBQ manufacturing facility specializing in high-quality BBQ products. We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to help support the daily operation of our production facility. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician will assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and general maintenance needs. This position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a mechanical field (preferably in a manufacturing environment), a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Join our team and help us keep our BBQ production facility running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with routine inspections of production equipment and facility systems. Perform basic preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment downtime. Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues. Assist with repairs on machinery, motors, belts, pumps, and other production equipment. Help maintain general facility needs, including plumbing, lighting, basic electrical, and building repairs. Respond to maintenance requests from production and other departments. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety procedures, food safety requirements, and GMP guidelines. Maintain basic records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used. Communicate equipment concerns or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor. Assist with other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, or repair experience preferred. Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills required. Basic electrical knowledge is a plus. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Must be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn. Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and work in various plant conditions. Must be willing to work in a food manufacturing environment.
