We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in Spindale, NC to support production by maintaining molding equipment, tooling, and facility support systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate:

$20-$30 (Depending on Experience)

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Spindale, NC Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and production equipment Perform preventative maintenance and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical issues Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and PM schedules Assist in planning and scheduling repairs to minimize downtime Follow all company safety policies and procedures Support ISO procedures and work instructions related to the position Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support needs Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Experience with molding equipment or plastics manufacturing is a plus Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility Continuous lifting and moving of equipment, parts, and materials Occasional climbing, stooping, reaching, sitting, and manual dexterity tasks Ability to hear equipment operation and identify abnormal sounds Normal near and far vision required for equipment inspection and repairs Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around moving machinery

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
