Job Description

Responsibilities:
Plans and administers the trouble shooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical components of industrial machinery and equipment as well as the daily supervision of the Maintenance Technicians and Molding Dept. Must have background in OSHA Safety and Compliance.
Tasks:
Maintain internal and external facility equipment by following recommended maintenance schedules. Maintains time and maintenance records as required. Eliminate problems that may lead to machine down time. Communicate effectively with co-workers and management. Promote and enforce equipment maintenance processes and quality / environmental standards. Perform other job duties as may be assigned or required. Provides technical support for hydraulic injection molding machines and assembly/automation equipment. Coordinate external facility and equipment contractors, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and oversee agreements. Required Education / skills / experience: Two-year degree in facility maintenance or a related technical field of study (4-year degree preferred). Minimum of 3 years Injection Molding Plastics related experience. Comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic injection molding machines, industrial pneumatics and hydraulic controls, HVAC and water tower/chiller systems, advanced electric servo-controlled robots and understanding of drawings, schematics, blueprints etc. Experience managing/training others and the willingness to share the knowledge. Hydraulic molding machines, preferably have proficient knowledge of Engel and Krauss Maffei. Industrial pneumatics. Industrial hydraulic controls. Automation controls and advanced PLCs. Advanced electric servo-controlled robots. Equipment To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, and Database software; Industrial manufacturing tools and equipment.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
