Maintenance Technician Sirius Staffing is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility operations in a fast-paced distribution/manufacturing environment in Whitsett, NC .
Pay:
$19/hr.
Hours:
6:30a-3:30p This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment to minimize downtime and support daily operations. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse and manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot and assist with basic equipment repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner Communicate equipment concerns and repair updates effectively with team members Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, repair parts, and supplies Support maintenance and engineering teams with daily operational needs Operate equipment such as electric forklifts and scissor lifts as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent experience required Ability to work independently with limited supervision Basic knowledge of manufacturing/distribution equipment and systems Basic understanding of motorized material handling equipment and electric forklifts Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLC-based applications in an industrial setting Experience with industrial electrical wiring, power distribution, or electrical systems Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic conveyor systems Familiarity with Zebra and Lexmark printers Knowledge of tooling and calibration services Industrial Electrician Certification Associate or 4-year degree in Maintenance, Electronics, or related field preferred Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
