The Cove Riverwalk Villas isn't your typical hotel. We're a luxury floating resort located in downtown Wilmington, featuring beautifully designed floating villas at Port City Marina. Every day is different, and we're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping an incredible property looking its best. If you enjoy variety, working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a close-knit team, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do No two days are exactly the same. You'll help keep our floating resort operating smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep.

Responsibilities include:

Completing routine maintenance inside and outside our luxury villas Troubleshooting basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues Assisting with dock upkeep and marina maintenance Performing trash removal, waste pump-outs, and general property maintenance Painting, drywall repair, fixture replacement, caulking, and finish work Responding quickly to guest-impacting maintenance requests Performing preventative maintenance inspections Maintaining tools, equipment, and supply inventory Working alongside our operations, housekeeping, and concierge teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience Learning new systems and maintenance disciplines as needed What We're Looking For We're much more interested in finding someone dependable with a great attitude than someone who already knows everything.

The ideal candidate is:

Handy and enjoys fixing things Reliable and takes ownership of their work Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Organized and self-motivated Friendly and professional around guests Eager to learn new skills Able to prioritize multiple tasks without constant supervision Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: General maintenance Residential or commercial construction Carpentry Electrical Plumbing HVAC Painting Marine or dock maintenance Landscaping or facilities maintenance Experience working around boats or marinas is a bonus but not required.
