Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and installations, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and other appliances. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose complex system problems accurately. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections in compliance with company procedures. Support leadership by mentoring junior technicians and assisting with special projects related to construction or system upgrades. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, kitchen equipment maintenance, and general equipment repair. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across diverse mechanical systems. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
