Starting at $22/hour - depending on experience and qualifications PrimeSites is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual with basic maintenance experience who is eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career in multifamily housing maintenance. Key Responsibilities Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner. Assist with apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance. Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems. Assist senior maintenance technicians with HVAC, appliance, and preventative maintenance projects. Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests while providing excellent customer service. Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property deficiencies. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, tools, and equipment. Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned. Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with snow removal as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, or related hands-on experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Tech is required to supply their own basic hand tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
