Maintenance Technician

About Us Simplestate is a small, locally owned property management company committed to keeping our properties clean, comfortable and running efficiently for our tenants. We're looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and is ready to be part of a great team.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues Handle general carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor renovations Keep detailed records of completed work Communicate clearly with property managers and tenants What We're Looking For 1+ years of hands-on maintenance or repair experience Knowledge of home systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in different environments Nice to Have (but not required) Experience with property management or work order systems Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Growth opportunities within the company Supportive team culture Gas allowance
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
