About Trenton Agri Products:
Trenton Agri Products LLC (TAP) operates a continuous 24/7 ethanol manufacturing facility in Trenton, Nebraska. We are committed to operational excellence, plant safety, environmental compliance, and maintaining a high-performing maintenance team to maximize facility reliability and efficiency Job Summary Execute scheduled maintenance with the maintenance manager, operations shift leaders, and vendor representatives to achieve safe and efficient completion of the workload and ensure minimal down time. Maintains a clean shop and work area. 75% Plant Maintenance
  • Works on plant equipment such as centrifugal pumps, replacing valves, motors, gearboxes, etc.
  • Routinely conducts equipment inspections and equipment lubrication.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment failures.
  • May install, repair, and calibrate sensors as needed.
  • May assist in pipe fabrication, welding, pipe-fitting as needed.
  • Other duties as needed to maintain a safe operating environment that maximizes plant uptime. Pay Structure & Wage Progression TAP offers a highly competitive pay scale ranging from $20.00/hr to $54.00/hr :
  • Base / Intermediate Technician ($20.00 - $25.00/hr): Entry to mid-level candidates possessing fundamental mechanical skills, general industrial maintenance experience, or relevant trade background.
  • Senior Industrial Mechanic ($25.00 - $40.00/hr): High-level candidates with extensive experience in industrial chemical/processing equipment, advanced pump/centrifuge rebuilding, precision alignment, welding/fabrication, and electrical/instrumentation skills.
  • Prevailing Wage Rate (Up to $54.
00/hr): Applied to specific qualifying plant repair, alteration, and heavy mechanical work under TAP's Prevailing Wage (PW) program. Wages for this program are subject Davis-Bacon rates for Hitchcock County, Nebraska.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form to all stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management and preventive maintenance experience for processing equipment including boilers, centrifuges, cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, centrifugal and lobe pumps, manual and automated valves, and a general understanding of electrical circuits and 4-20mA instrumentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical experience in a maintenance workforce within an industrial processing or chemical production facility.
  • Certification or strong proficiency in welding/hot work, laser alignment, precision pump rebuilding, or electrical LOTO procedures.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Llumin or Fiix.
Physical & Workplace Requirements:
  • Climbing several flights of stairs and ladders; working at high elevations and in extreme temperatures.
  • Opening and closing process valves.
  • Walking two or more miles per day and working in confined spaces.
  • Proper use of mechanical tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods (often 5+ hours at a time).
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and turning.
Pay:
$20.00 - $54.00 per hour
