A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and troubleshoot faulty mechanical operations, performing necessary repairs to ensure smooth operations. Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with L.O.T.O. (Lockout/Tagout) safety methods and procedures. Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts or man lifts safely and efficiently. Record repairs, maintenance activities, and the usage of parts and materials. Perform metal cutting and welding for repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints and schematics with strong basic math skills. Capable of working at heights and lifting up to 100 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable attendance, flexibility with hours, and a team-oriented attitude.
