A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
1st shift: 4:30am - 4:30 pm ( 4 days on, 4 days off rotation - Includes weekends and holidays as scheduled)

Job Summary:
Aventure Staffing is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for all daily aspects of preventive and corrective maintenance on farm machinery and processing equipment to ensure operations run smoothly and safely. This role involves troubleshooting, minor repairs, equipment setup, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to maintain food safety and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform daily preventive and corrective repairs, technical troubleshooting, equipment adjustments, and startups. •
Continuous Improvement:
Work with the reliability team to execute precision maintenance, track critical spares, and assist with new equipment installation. •
System Logging:
Document maintenance tasks, work orders, and asset records using the company's maintenance software (CMMS). •
Safety & Compliance:
Strict adherence to site safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety and quality. •
Team Collaboration:
Assist senior maintenance craftsmen, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to root-cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures. Requirements & Physical Demands •
Physical Activity:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and crawling around machinery. •
Lifting:
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs . •
Environment:
Varying temperature environments (hot to cold), loud noise levels, dust/fumes, and working near moving mechanical parts. •
Tools & Equipment:
Experience or comfort operating ladders, welding tools, cutting tools, forklifts, air compressors, and computers. •
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. •
Communication:
