This position performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the facility, assists with seasonal grounds maintenance, and supports other facility-related needs as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general building repairs, including doors, windows, locks, ceilings, walls, and light fixtures.
- Repair and patch drywall; prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
- Perform minor concrete and flooring repairs.
- Complete minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, fixtures, drains, and related equipment.
- Perform minor roof inspections and repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on HVAC systems.
- Replace lamps, ballasts, and other basic electrical components.
- Assist with grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, landscaping, and property upkeep.
- Perform snow removal and ice control using hand tools and equipment.
- Assist with Janitorial duties as needed.
- Operate and maintain maintenance equipment, power tools, lifts, and vehicles safely.
- Transport company executives and visitors to and from airports or hotels when requested.
- Maintain maintenance records and report facility issues promptly.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and respond to changing maintenance needs.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance systems.
- Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment and power tools. Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Climb ladders up to 20 feet and operate aerial lifts up to 35 feet.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Possess sufficient mobility and endurance to perform duties safely. Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial or industrial building maintenance experience.
- Snow removal experience and willingness to respond during off-hours.
- Experience operating lawn care and snow removal equipment.
- Basic HVAC, plumbing, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Forklift or aerial lift certification is a plus. Working Conditions
- Work in manufacturing, office, warehouse, and outdoor environments.
- Occasional evening, weekend, or emergency call-in work may be required.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and background check.
