AM Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in Charlestown, NH. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, shift differential, and long-term career growth.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for optimizing equipment reliability, minimizing production downtime, and providing critical maintenance support to manufacturing operations. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex production machinery.
  • Inspect equipment and systems to identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems related to machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
  • Conduct routine quality and safety inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Follow established calibration procedures and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory documentation.
  • Support production needs by responding to equipment issues with urgency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop, storage areas, and workspaces.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support production during scheduled and unscheduled downtime events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical School, Associate Degree, or related maintenance training preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant maintenance experience with a High School Diploma.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience with a technical degree or certification.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints, Wiring schematics, Single-line diagrams, Ladder logic diagrams.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, vacuum systems, power tools, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Must be dependable and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Manufacturing or molding environment experience.
  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting.
  • PLC and automation exposure.
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems maintenance.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work throughout an entire shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Adequate vision and depth perception to safely perform maintenance tasks.
