Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Specialist Our client is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to be the go-to expert for repairs, upkeep, and improvements. No two days are the same in this hands-on, direct-hire role supporting residential and commercial properties! Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Specialist Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems Handle customer service tickets in a timely and efficient manner Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and ensure everything is in proper working order Order supplies Oversee contractors Assist with snow removal, landscaping, cleaning, painting, and other tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Facility Maintenance Specialist High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment Knowledge of general carpentry and repair Ability to read and interpret building blueprints and equipment manuals Ability to work well independently Experience using manual and power tools Valid driver's license Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, with some overtime, plus one week of on-call duty every three to four months on a rotation.
