Job Description

Maintenance Technician II Want to put your hands-on maintenance skills to work somewhere they make a meaningful impact? Join Seven Hills New Hampshire as a Maintenance Technician II and help keep our school and campus buildings safe, functional, and well maintained for our students, staff, and guests. Crotched Mountain School & Village is located on a beautiful mountainside campus in Greenfield, NH and serves children and young adults with complex neurodevelopmental disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, and significant behavioral challenges. Greenfield, NH Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 2:00pm-10:00pm What You'll Do… Perform general interior maintenance and repairs throughout school, residential, office, and campus buildings. Complete light plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and drains, replacing faucets and fixtures, and addressing minor leaks. Perform basic electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixtures, switches, outlets, and low-voltage components. Repair drywall, paint, caulk, and complete basic carpentry and building repairs. Repair and maintain doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, shelving, trim, and other hardware. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Assist with preventative maintenance and routine building inspections. Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Assist with outdoor maintenance when needed, including mowing, snow removal, trimming, and general campus upkeep. Operate equipment such as zero-turn mowers, snow plows, trucks, and small loaders. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety procedures. Work collaboratively with the Facilities team and other departments. What You'll Bring… High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required. 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities, handyman, construction, or related experience. Experience with light plumbing, basic electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when a repair requires a licensed professional. Experience with power tools, lawn equipment, snow removal equipment, or similar equipment. Valid, unrestricted driver's license required. Dependable, adaptable, safety-minded, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements… Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally. Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, reach, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment. Why Join Seven Hills?
