•Kendal at Hanover is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, employing over 300 staff members and home to 400 residents. Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team!

Primary roles and responsibilities include:

Performing project assignments and renovations. Performing work requests to building interiors/ exteriors such as woodwork, furnishings, finishes, hardware, and maintaining grounds. Supporting the operational needs of the facility as needed. Responding to emergencies and other urgent needs for general services such as heating, lighting, water, and sewage. Proactively planning material requests necessary to complete work orders. Collaborating with department purchaser to identify necessary stock items.

Required Education/Experience:

The successful candidate will have either an associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or ten or more years of related experience and/or training. MUST have a strong working knowledge of the related trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC). Preference will be given to applicants who have both 10+ years of experience and a degree. You must have a valid driver's license in order to be considered for this position. Kendal at Hanover offers a competitive hourly rate plus generous evening/night/weekend shift differentials. Work schedule:

Monday through Friday 7:30 - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break) with occasional on call responsibilities.

Pay:

$27.04 - 32.70 per hour, depending on experience. #KAH2
