Job Description

. Maintenance Mechanic

A well-established printing company is seeking an Maintenance Mechanic for their team. You'll help keep production and plant equipment running smoothly at their Hanover, NH facility. Maintenance Mechanic

  • Develop, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems
  • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on a variety of equipment
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service and parts manuals
  • Design and fabricate parts as necessary for both machine repair and tooling construction
  • Use mills, drills, lathes, welders, torches, presses, and various hand tools
  • Document work in computer system
  • Comply with all safety policies and maintain a clean work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned Additional Information

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical courses preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position required
  • Ability to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment
  • General knowledge of all building trades
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Experience with electronic controls, mechanical troubleshooting/repair, welding, cutting, brazing, metal, sheet metal, and/or wood fabrication strongly preferred This Maintenance Mechanic position works Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00pm - 11:00pm.
