This position plays a critical role in preparing residential and commercial sites for pool installations through safe, precise excavation. The ideal candidate has strong equipment experience, a CDL, and takes pride in quality workmanship and jobsite safety. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators and related heavy equipment to excavate pool shells, trenches, and foundations according to plans. Perform accurate digging around utilities, structures, and property lines in residential and commercial environments. Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and layout markings. Safely transport equipment between job sites using CDL as required. Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines. Assist with backfilling, grading, and site restoration as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment. Valid CDL (required). Experience in residential construction, pool construction, or utility excavation preferred. Strong understanding of excavation safety and underground utility awareness. Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
