MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization in Lincoln, NH , to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician for a long-term Temp-to-Hire opportunity. If you have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, machinery, and facility maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work and grow with a respected organization.

$28.97-$60.82 /hour, based on experience and qualifications

Safety shoes, safety glasses, and long-sleeve shirt required for the interview/facility tour and on the job What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping building systems, production machinery, and mechanical equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot mechanical devices by observing operation and identifying sources of equipment problems. Disassemble equipment, inspect components, and identify defective or worn parts. Repair, replace, adjust, lubricate, and clean machinery components. Install functional and structural components on machinery and equipment. Test equipment after repairs to verify proper operation. Use welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair facility machinery and equipment. Perform general facility maintenance, including routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance. Submit material and parts requests as needed. Repair minor electrical issues under the supervision of the plant electrician. Perform additional maintenance duties as required.
What We're Looking For Required:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Solid understanding of electrical systems and plumbing. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment. Ability to work independently and safely in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe . Welding and machine-tool experience. Experience with preventative maintenance and facility maintenance. Physical Requirements Regularly stand and reach with hands and arms. Frequently use hands to finger, handle, and operate tools or controls. Occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds . Ability to push up to 75 pounds , bend, kneel, and climb as needed. Must have sufficient close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus. Ready to Put Your Skills to Work? Pay Details:
