Full‑time Requirements — Must Meet ALL to Be Considered Background Check Drug Test Overtime Availability About the Role If you're a hands‑on problem solver who loves keeping machines running and facilities in top shape, this role is right up your alley. You'll repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and rebuild equipment across the facility — ensuring production stays smooth and downtime stays low. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with right‑to‑hire , offering a strong pathway into long‑term employment. A Day In The Life Observe machines in operation and diagnose issues by sight, sound, and performance. Dismantle equipment to access, inspect, and replace defective parts. Examine parts for wear, imperfections, and dimensional changes. Adjust, lubricate, clean, and reinstall functional components. Repair or replace damaged parts and test equipment performance. Use welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair machinery.
Perform general facility maintenance:
plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks. Initiate material requests for parts and supplies. Repair minor electrical issues under supervision of the plant electrician. Complete additional maintenance duties as needed. What Helps You Thrive Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to push up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physical environments. Solid understanding of electrical systems and plumbing. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe (preferred).
Pay:
$28.97 - $60.82 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
