Come join a company with a family atmosphere and the most eye catching young plants in the North East. We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs for the overall maintenance of the facilities, grounds and equipment at Pleasant View Gardens. You will also address maintenance tasks and responsibilities for the greenhouse operating systems. All tasks are expected to be completed in an organized, timely and cost effective manner. To succeed in this role, you should be a self motivated team player with a positive outlook, solid work ethic and strong communication skills.
Requirements and job responsibilities:
General knowledge and exposure to industrial electrical work Ability to construct office and operational areas, from stud walls to drywall Knowledge of plumbing and irrigation systems Exposure to equipment operation and maintenance (forklifts and scissor lifts, etc...) Repair and maintenance of greenhouse facilities Follows OSHA regulation and company safety policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaborate with all levels of the organization. Required to be on a rotating schedule (off hours and/or weekends) to respond to events, emergencies and incidents. Education /
Experience Required:
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of related experience Valid driver's license and the ability to be certified on heavy equipment including forklifts, tractors and scissor lifts
