Employee-Focused Work Environment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Apartment & Building Maintenance Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance repairs throughout the community.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical issues, appliances, locks, doors, and building systems.

Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally.

Perform apartment turns, make-ready work, and unit renovations.

Repair drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and basic carpentry items.

Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision. HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment.

Troubleshoot plumbing systems, leaks, fixtures, drains, water heaters, and supply lines.

Perform light electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and breakers.

Maintain building mechanical systems and equipment. Customer Service & Property Care Deliver exceptional resident customer service.

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Assist with community upkeep, inspections, and curb appeal initiatives.

Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation.

Support resident and community events as needed. Required Qualifications 2+ years of apartment maintenance, property maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or multifamily maintenance experience.

Strong working knowledge of:

HVAC systems

Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting

Appliance repair

Electrical troubleshooting

Carpentry

Drywall repair

Painting

Locks and hardware

General building maintenance

EPA Certification strongly preferred.

Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment. Preferred Qualifications EPA Universal Certification

HVAC Certification

CPO Certification

CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician)

Multifamily or apartment maintenance experience

Experience with Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, AppFolio, or other property management software Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate: Takes pride in quality workmanship
