We're looking for an experienced Repair Maintenance Mechanic to keep manufacturing equipment and facility systems running efficiently in a high‑volume production environment.
Pay:
$36 - $38/hr
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm What you'll do: : Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, motors, machinery, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose equipment malfunctions using manuals, diagrams, and testing instruments. Repair or replace worn and defective machine components using hand and power tools. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to inspect parts and ensure proper specifications. Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop equipment when necessary. Monitor equipment performance and help reduce production downtime. Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with ordering replacement components. Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and keep work areas clean and organized. What we're looking for: Minimum 1-3 years' experience in troubleshooting and servicing miscellaneous machinery and equipment. Ability to use various measuring tools such as calipers, squares, protractor and measuring tapes. Basic computer and math skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production environment under tight time constraints managing multiple priorities. Must possess an understanding of production procedures. Must adhere to health and safety regulations (consistent use of P.P.E) High level of attention to detail Must have excellent time management skills and work ethic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
