is a small boutique hotel with a close knit team and a hands on approach to hospitality. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping our property looking sharp, functioning properly, and ready for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who is kind, smart, dependable, hands on, and takes action without needing to be asked multiple times. Because we are a small team, everyone matters. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance throughout the hotel and guest rooms Inspect guest rooms and identify items that need repair, touch up, replacement, or beautification Repair and troubleshoot toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, and basic plumbing issues Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on HVAC and PTAC units Repair and replace tile, grout, caulking, fixtures, doors, hardware, and other room components Perform painting, drywall repairs, patching, touch ups, and general room beautification Address maintenance requests from the Front Desk and Housekeeping in a timely manner Complete routine inspections of guest rooms, common areas, equipment, and building systems Perform preventive maintenance before small problems become expensive problems Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Communicate completed work and outstanding issues with management Respond to urgent maintenance issues when needed Help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property Follow hotel safety procedures and applicable building and operational requirements Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience Previous hotel maintenance experience strongly preferred Hands on experience with plumbing, toilets, HVAC, tile, caulking, painting, drywall, and general repairs Understanding of hotel operations and the importance of getting guest room issues resolved quickly Able to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Must provide at least 1 professional reference from a previous employer Must be comfortable working in guest rooms and throughout all areas of a hotel What We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply waits for a work order.
