JOB DESCRIPTION
Bathhouse is seeking a knowledgeable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented Pool Technician to help maintain the health, cleanliness, and functionality of our thermal pools and water systems. This role is essential to delivering a safe, elevated guest experience and ensuring our facilities operate smoothly every day. The Pool Technician will monitor water quality, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and work closely with operations and facilities teams to uphold Bathhouse standards.
RESPONSIBILITES
Perform daily water testing and log all readings accurately. Balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.) according to established standards. Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and related equipment. Perform routine cleaning of pools, drains, filters, and mechanical rooms. Identify and troubleshoot issues quickly; escalate repairs when needed. Conduct preventative maintenance on pool systems and associated equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Respond to operational issues or guest-impacting concerns promptly. Collaborate with facilities, lifeguard/wet area teams, and management to resolve issues and plan maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience working with pools, spas, aquatic facilities, or similar environments. Strong understanding of pool chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, and heaters. Certified Pool Operator (CPO). Experience working in hospitality, spa, hotel, or fitness environments is a plus. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about identifying issues early. Comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hourly Rate:
$28/hour. Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance available for full-time employees. Complimentary unlimited admission to Bathhouse. Three "Plus One" guest passes per month. 50% discount on services, retail products, and restaurant offerings.
