Job Description
The Ocean County Utilities Authority, a public wastewater treatment facility consisting of three treatment plants and 40 pumping stations, is presently seeking entry-level laborers. There is an available position in Bayville, NJ. The Utility Worker is responsible to perform general labor in the Authority's operations and maintenance activities and to assist and support other Authority employees in carrying out their work assignments. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and an interest in learning about the wastewater industry are encouraged to apply. This is a growth position with opportunities to learn and create a career path in various fields. The Authority offers a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour.
