We're growing and looking for our first full-time field technician to work directly alongside the owner and gradually take on independent service calls. This is an excellent position for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys variety, likes figuring things out, and would rather become good at many different types of repair work than perform the same trade every day. What You'll Do Work will vary considerably from day to day and may include: Commercial facility repairs and general maintenance Door, lock, hinge and hardware repairs Carpentry and fixture repairs Drywall, ceiling tile, painting and finish repairs Basic electrical repair and troubleshooting Equipment and mechanical repairs Minor plumbing-related repairs Metal repair, fabrication and welding Shelving, displays, carts, bollards and other store equipment Exterior building/property repairs Emergency damage repairs Measuring and identifying materials needed for repairs Picking up parts and materials Assisting with larger or more complicated projects Documenting completed work with notes and photos Communicating professionally with store managers and facility personnel You are not expected to already be an expert in all of these areas.
