Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool and Spa Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing pools and spas to ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior service technician experience is preferred, along with familiarity with hand tools and power tools. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintenance, repair, and providing high-quality service in the pool industry. Certification is a plus. Responsibilities Perform routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing chemical levels Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools Conduct leak detection and perform minor repairs to plumbing or mechanical systems Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance performed Provide exceptional customer service by explaining maintenance procedures and addressing client concerns Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance Professional demeanor, dependable, reliable, punctual Able to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Prior experience as a service technician in pools or spas is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in equipment repair and maintenance Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Valid driver's license: willingness to learn new skills related to pool systems and repairs Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work overtime or be on call when necessary or assigned

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
