Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians to join a growing team supporting a highly automated distribution and fulfillment environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving material handling equipment (MHE), automated packaging systems, and robotic equipment to ensure maximum operational uptime. - Promote a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment (MHE).
- Maintain conveyors, belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, sensors, and other automated equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Accurately complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
- Track and maintain department inventory and spare parts.
- Work collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance or related technical experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience using powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance activities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, and stooping. Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment (MHE).
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- Understanding of OEM safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing automated equipment. Benefits
