Pool Technician

Duties Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and chemical balancing to maintain water clarity and quality. Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early. Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty pool components efficiently and safely. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using your mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Assist with opening and closing pools according to seasonal schedules and safety protocols. Ensure all safety standards are adhered to during maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment using hand tools and power tools is a plus. Proven experience in pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance tasks preferred. Familiarity with various pool systems and equipment components is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
