In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC and laser cutting machines to produce custom signage, letters, logos, panels, and other sign components. The ideal candidate has previous experience operating CNC or laser equipment, is comfortable working with measurements and production files, and has strong attention to detail. Experience in the sign industry or fabrication is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC router and laser cutting machines. Cut and produce custom letters, logos, panels, and other signage components. Read and follow production drawings, measurements, and job specifications. Load and position materials correctly on machines. Check dimensions and finished parts for accuracy and quality. Make basic machine adjustments as needed during production. Monitor machines while jobs are running. Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of CNC and laser equipment. Identify and report machine or production issues. Work with common sign-making materials such as acrylic, PVC, ACM, aluminum, wood, and other sheet materials. Keep the production area clean, safe, and organized. Assist with sign fabrication, assembly, and other production tasks when needed. Work with the production team to complete jobs accurately and on schedule. Qualifications Previous CNC router, CNC machine, or laser cutting experience preferred. Experience in sign manufacturing, fabrication, woodworking, metalworking, or a similar production environment is a plus. Ability to accurately read measurements and use a tape measure. Ability to follow production drawings and job instructions. Basic computer skills. Experience with CAD/CAM, CNC, or design software is a plus. Good mechanical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. Willing to learn our machines, materials, and production process. Preferred Experience CNC Router Operation Laser Cutting / Engraving Sign Manufacturing CAD/CAM Software Acrylic, PVC, ACM, Aluminum, or Wood Fabrication General Shop or Manufacturing Experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to safely handle and move sheet materials. Ability to lift and carry materials and finished products as needed. Comfortable working around production machinery and tools. About the Position This is a hands-on production position in a custom sign manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to measurements and quality, and is interested in becoming a long-term part of our team. Training will be provided for our specific equipment and workflow, but previous CNC or laser machine experience is strongly preferred.
