Pay Rate:
$25.00-$27.00 per hour Carpentry, HVAC, and/or Plumbing-Experienced Maintenance Technicians — Apply Today! This is a hands-on, active role ideal for a maintenance professional with a background in carpentry, HVAC, and/or plumbing who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in keeping building systems running smoothly. We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of maintenance experience — and experience in an Assisted Living or Healthcare environment is a major plus. If you have strong skills in carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems , we want to meet you. Key Responsibilities (HVAC-Focused): Perform regular HVAC system maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal heating and cooling performance for residents and staff Conduct routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, heat and A/C, carpentry, and building/grounds systems for all Van Dyk properties Complete apartment turnover repairs and upgrades in a timely manner Respond to emergency calls and maintenance issues across the main building, corporate office, and rental properties Maintain a flexible schedule, including after-hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed Provide outstanding customer service to residents, tenants, families, guests, and staff Diagnose issues quickly, determine correct repairs, and execute them safely and efficiently Ensure adherence to building codes, HVAC safety standards, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience , ideally with a background in carpentry, HVAC, and/or plumbing Strong competency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems A roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure Professional, courteous, and resident-focused demeanor
