SIGN COMPANY WORKER / INSTALLATION & SHOP ASSISTANT

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with the day-to-day operations of our sign company. This is a hands-on position that includes working in the shop, assisting with sign installations and service calls, preparing materials, and helping keep jobs organized and moving efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with installation and removal of interior and exterior signage Help installers on job sites with tools, materials, ladders, hardware, and equipment Load and unload trucks for installations and service calls Prepare signs and materials for upcoming jobs Assist with basic sign fabrication and assembly in the shop Drill, cut, measure, mount, clean, and prepare materials as directed Apply vinyl and assist with basic sign finishing when needed Help with LED, illuminated sign, and electrical sign work under the direction of experienced technicians Take accurate measurements and job-site/completion photos Pick up and deliver materials, signs, and supplies Maintain tools, equipment, trucks, and work areas Keep the shop and warehouse clean and organized Follow job-site and company safety procedures Assist with general building, property, and equipment maintenance as needed Perform other duties as assigned based on daily workload

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dependable and able to arrive to work on time Comfortable working with basic hand and power tools Able to lift and carry approximately 50-75 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Comfortable working from ladders and at heights Able to follow directions and work as part of a crew Good attention to detail and willingness to learn Sign, construction, electrical, fabrication, mechanical, or installation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
