In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across our operations. Your expertise will ensure the smooth functioning of essential machinery, including conveyor chains, pulleys, gear sprockets, and drive motors . The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with machinery repair and service technician tasks, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance visits and emergency repairs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures. Assist with the installation of new mechanical systems or equipment as needed. Support maintenance operations by managing repair requests efficiently and prioritizing urgent issues. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed. Demonstrate leadership in guiding less experienced technicians when required. Requirements Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within industrial or commercial settings. Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients or internal stakeholders regarding repairs or system issues. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
