HELPER (General & Technician Tier) Part-Time Moving & Delivery Helper - Tri-State Area - As-Needed Schedule We're hiring part-time helpers to assist with moving and delivering furniture and equipment across the Tri-State area. This is physical, hands-on work that requires strength, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Candidates with computer/IT equipment experience are especially encouraged to apply — technician-level tasks are paid at a higher rate.

Please note:

This is a part-time, as-needed position. Shifts depend on job volume week to week — some weeks we may need you several times, other weeks not at all. This role is not guaranteed steady hours; it works well alongside another job, school, or as supplemental income.

Job Site Locations:

Job sites are located throughout the Tri-State area, especially Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Hoboken . Most shifts are not based out of our Newark warehouse — you'll typically be working directly at client job sites in NYC and the surrounding area.

Pay:

$17-$22/hour for general helper duties; higher pay for candidates who take on computer/IT disconnect-reconnect tasks, based on skill and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload boxes, furniture and equipment Assist with setup and placement at job sites Follow instructions from supervisors, installers and drivers Maintain professionalism with clients For technician-level candidates: safely disconnect and reconnect computers, monitors, docking stations, and phones; label and organize cables so everything reassembles correctly at the new location; provide white-glove handling of sensitive equipment

Requirements:

No experience needed for general helper duties; IT, help desk, or similar tech experience a plus for technician-level pay Must be 18+ Must be able to lift and carry heavy items Must be reliable and punctual when shifts are offered Must have reliable transportation to job sites across the Tri-State area Available on short notice, including weekends
