In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems, appliances, and HVAC units. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC & HVAC/R systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across various equipment including appliances, refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and other mechanical systems. Install, modify, and upgrade appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems as needed to meet operational requirements. Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems accurately. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at different locations while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members and lead small projects or tasks related to equipment repair or installation while demonstrating leadership qualities. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC & refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC/R technology is essential. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, and equipment repair is highly desirable. Ability to operate construction tools and perform basic construction-related tasks when necessary. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent troubleshooting skills for complex machinery issues. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely; experience in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
