Job Description
squarpix is full-service large-format printing and sign company seeking an experienced Large-Format Sign Production Specialist . This is a hands-on production position for someone with at least 3 years of professional experience in large-format printing, sign production, machine operation, and finishing. The right candidate must be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete multiple jobs accurately in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Operate large-format flatbed, roll-to-roll, and hybrid printers Set up files and equipment for daily print production Load materials and select the correct printer settings Monitor print quality, color, sizing, and job accuracy Operate cutting and finishing equipment Perform laminating, mounting, trimming, weeding, masking, and application Produce banners, posters, decals, wall graphics, window graphics, vehicle graphics, and rigid signs Work with vinyl, acrylic, PVC, foam board, aluminum composite material, and corrugated plastic Read job tickets, measurements, and production instructions Prepare completed jobs for installation, pickup, delivery, or shipping Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance Keep the production area clean, safe, and organized Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of large-format printing or sign-production experience Experience operating commercial printers and finishing equipment Knowledge of vinyl, laminates, substrates, inks, and sign materials Ability to read measurements and use production tools accurately Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible Ability to lift and handle rolls, boards, and production materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Fuji Acuity printers EFI printers
