\n SUMMARY \n The Maintenance Technician is responsible for undertaking preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Within a manufacturing or industrial environment, the technician assists in identifying and promptly resolving any mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical issues that may occur within the manufacturing processes and auxiliary equipment and systems in the facility. The specific duties of the technician vary depending on the prevailing maintenance requirements. \n \n

\n The capability to successfully execute one or more of the following tasks is highly desirable in order to excel in this position. \n \n \n Basic knowledge of electrical systems, such as starters, fuses, contacts, and relays \n \n \n Familiarity with compressors and ammonia systems, like refrigeration systems \n \n \n Proficiency in working with conveyors and airveyors, including air cylinders, diverters, sensors, and motor/speed controls. \n \n \n Skilled in handling electrical systems, including installation, frequency drive, and troubleshooting. \n \n \n Experience with electronics, such as level probes, flow meters, and drives/VFDs. \n \n \n Knowledgeable about gearing and gear boxes, including rebuilds, ordering parts, and machining parts. \n \n \n Proficient in hydraulic systems, dealing with high-pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, and troubleshooting. \n \n \n Understanding of kinematics, including line speed/sprocket size ratios \n \n \n Familiarity with reviewing rating instructions \n \n \n Experience with PLC systems, including industrial maintenance and computer control systems. \n \n \n Competence in working with pneumatics, including solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, and troubleshooting. \n \n \n Knowledge of pneumatics/air compression, such as valves and cylinders \n \n \n Skill in performing preventative maintenance using computerized charts/data. \n \n \n Experience with pumps, including troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, and understanding specifications. \n \n \n Ability to read and interpret schematics, such as electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, and relays. \n \n \n Proficient in troubleshooting, including diagnostics and problem-solving \n \n \n Collaboration skills and experience working in team-based environments. \n \n \n \n

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

The actual duties required of this position will vary. \n \n Clean Shelving rotate products and verify correct shelf prices. \n Build, merchandise and maintain all secondary and promotional displays to conform to company standards. \n Merchandise and fill all coolers, vendors and rack to standard on every visit (if applicable). \n Call on each account as scheduled. \n Create, develop and maintain a strong rapport in every account. \n Manage, rotate and maintain back-stock where applicable. \n Collect and organize damaged product into designated area. \n Call in all customer requests to your immediate supervisor. \n Attend all scheduled meetings and be an active participant. \n Attend all training sessions. \n Follow all company and customer safety guidelines and policies. \n Performs other job-related duties as assigned. \n \n \n

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION

\n \n Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. \n Must maintain a valid Driver's License. \n Two years merchandising/sales and/or customer contact experience. \n Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator. \n MS Office including Word and Excel. \n \n \n
