Expert Floor Tech

Floor Technicians:

We are seeking to fill our Expert Floor Technician positions in the healthcare industry. Candidates are expected to work as directed, following daily project assignments. The Floor Technicians is a highly skilled professional who specializes in, and is responsible for Buffing, Stripping, Waxing, Sweeping, and Mopping different types of floors and areas through the Hospital. When no floor care projects are available, the individual will be responsible for Cleaning, Sanitizing, Preparing, or Maintaining spaces used for medical purposes. The schedule for this position is five days per week including weekends

Experience:

In person The job requires: Expertise in using floor care machinery with the ability to assess and perform all types of floorwork from Stone, Terrazzo, VTC Tile, Vinyl, Carpet, and no wax floors. Has extensive knowledge and operates various floor care machines from side by side, burnisher, ride on, walk behinds, shampoo etc. Highly skilled to preform Buffing, Stripping, Waxing of floors. Prior experience as floor technician. The position requires the frequent pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects, walking, and standing for long periods of time. The individual must be able to lift, push, pull, carry and exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The Employee must be able use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The position requires full mobility of the back, arms, and legs in the course of performing this job. The employee must have excellent stamina. Expetice level skill required
