Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of glass components such as shower doors, mirrors, and custom glass fixtures. Handle and install various glass materials safely using hand tools and power tools, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry elements, metal stud framing, and other related fixtures with precision. Conduct dimensional measurements and quality control checks to ensure proper fit and finish of all glass and fixture installations. Use construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement for efficient job completion. Fabricate or modify glass materials as needed for custom projects in fabrication or manufacturing settings. Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky glass panels and materials on construction sites. Apply caulking, sealing techniques (including caulking), and construction painting to ensure finished work is weatherproofed and visually appealing. Interpret schematics and blueprints accurately to execute complex installation tasks aligned with construction plans. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or site-specific tasks to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices (including dimensional measurements), and glass handling equipment. Strong background in window installation, door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing. Knowledge of construction site safety practices along with experience working on construction sites or in remodeling environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes. Familiarity with fabrication or manufacturing processes related to glass materials is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control during measurement (measurement accuracy) and installation procedures.
