Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman to join our facilities maintenance team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across our building interior and exterior spaces. Your expertise will ensure that all facilities equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and structural elements remain in optimal condition. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC units, and facilities equipment. Perform repairs using hand tools and power tools, including carpentry, painting, welding, and electrical work. Troubleshoot issues by interpreting schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and mechanical components. Maintain and repair plumbing systems such as pipes, fixtures, and drainage to ensure proper operation. Repair or replace electrical components using appropriate tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices. Support building interior maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repairs, and general carpentry to uphold aesthetic standards. Assist with installation or upgrades of facilities equipment while adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Follow safety procedures during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance or facilities upkeep with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics related to electrical equipment and mechanical systems. Strong electrical experience including electrical equipment repair and electrical work safety standards. Experience with maintenance repair operations (MRO), residential painting, carpentry, and plumbing system repair. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interaction. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
