Job Description

In the role of Maintenance Technician, your primary objective is to maintain peak operational efficiency for our production machinery, ensuring that our high-quality goods reach clients punctually. Your daily routine centers on identifying and resolving technical malfunctions as they arise; this requires you to respond with agility, diagnose problems accurately, and execute repairs swiftly to minimize downtime while upholding rigorous safety standards. Outside of immediate repairs, you will dedicate time to performing routine preventative maintenance, system updates, and necessary equipment overhauls. Success in this position demands a strong commitment to safety, consistent reliability, and a proactive mindset. Core Duties Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. Swap out damaged components such as sensors or electrical contacts. Operate various hand tools and manage high-voltage systems alongside PLC hardware. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping your workspace organized and equipment in good repair. Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and stooping to facilitate repairs. Ensure consistent product quality by keeping machinery running smoothly and safely. Support our primary goal of safety by mastering plant protocols, including lockout/tagout, arc flash, 5S, and forklift operation. Qualifications Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Interpret technical documentation, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics. Demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Utilize experience with PLC motor controls. Perform diagnostics and programming on PLC systems and troubleshoot electrical components like relays, timers, and proximity switches. Apply knowledge of Allen Bradley Control Systems, RS Logic 5000, and Siemens S7. Leverage experience with Fanuc and Toshiba systems.
