Job Description

Salary:
$19.00

Responsibilities :
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to keep the equipment operating efficiently and in a safe manner.
  • Coordinate with Operation Management to establish maintenance schedules on various machines to minimize downtime on production.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions and assisting in repairs of machines, equipment or structures including blade sharpening and tool changing.
  • Review and complete work orders timely, conducting necessary maintenance or repairs as needed. Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to complete complex repairs and installations.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout(LOTO)procedures at all times and ensure all Maintenance Personnel are following LOTO procedures at all times.
  • Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of maintenance activities and repairs performed over the shift.
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks around the warehouse and offices
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with federal, state regulations, and company policies and procedures. Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives a protocols.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments and sustain constant communication with Plant Management regarding any maintenance issues that may arise.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous 2+ years of experience with automated equipment and in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of machines, diagnostic tools, hand tools including their designs, uses and maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment
