Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Tasks include, but are not limited to, carpentry, masonry, welding, electrical, some electronics, plumbing, some heavy mechanical repairs to machinery, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial equipment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems. Troubleshoot issues with production equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and gearboxes. Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify and resolve system malfunctions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, equipment settings, and service reports. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Collaborate with production teams to schedule and prioritize repairs and maintenance activities. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and maintenance areas. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed. Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment on a rotating cycle. Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in industrial maintenance or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • NJ Black Seal High-Pressure License or knowledge to pass the NJ Black Seal High-Pressure test.
  • Knowledge of basic math including decimals and fractions and their equivalents.
  • Understanding of measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers and verniers.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
