Full-Time ( Shift work / On-call rotation may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays ) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our Data Center Operations team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical facility infrastructure that supports mission-critical data center operations, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, up-time-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure systems, including: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, ATS/switchgear, and PDUs Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) / Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) units, chillers, and cooling towers Fire suppression and life safety systems Building Management System (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools Conduct routine facility inspections, walkthroughs, and equipment readings to identify potential issues before they escalate Support installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work order records, and compliance documentation Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, calibrations, and inspections Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and change management procedures Assist with capacity planning and infrastructure improvement projects Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable regulatory and industry standards Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, critical environments, or data center operations (or equivalent military/technical experience) Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to medium voltage), mechanical systems, and HVAC principles Familiarity with UPS, generators, switchgear, and precision cooling systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 operational environment Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and be part of an on-call rotation Preferred Qualifications Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification EPA universal certification (HVAC) Experience with

certification Experience in collocation, hyperscale, or enterprise data center environment
OSHA 10/30
