Maintenance Technician EnVue, Autograph Collection - Weehawken, NJ Help Keep a Luxury Hotel Running at Its Best EnVue, Autograph Collection is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in quality workmanship, and have hotel maintenance experience, we'd love to meet you. Our Engineering team plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every guest room, public space, and back-of-house area is maintained to the highest standards. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.

Responsibilities include:

Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests Complete preventive maintenance assignments Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, drywall, painting, doors, locks, and other building components Troubleshoot equipment and building system issues Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs Maintain pools, mechanical rooms, and exterior areas as assigned Ensure work is completed safely and according to hotel standards Properly document completed work orders Assist with emergency repairs when necessary Support the Engineering team in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained property What We're Looking For Hotel maintenance experience is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates should have:

Experience in hotel, commercial, or facilities maintenance Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and emergency call-ins when needed Preferred Qualifications Marriott hotel experience preferred EPA Certification is a plus CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus Experience with preventive maintenance programs Knowledge of OSHA safety practices Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join EnVue?
