Maintenance Technician Posted on June 9, 2025 June 9, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of equipment and facilities within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role requires hands-on technical ability and a proactive approach to maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and safe working conditions. Position Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance and Repair Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and equipment Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failures and extend lifecycle Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to restore operations quickly Facility Upkeep Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other infrastructure Assist with setup and installation of new equipment or machinery as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas complying with safety regulations Documentation and Reporting Record maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accurate tracking Communicate issues and maintenance status to supervisors and relevant departments Follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Prerequisites Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial settings preferred Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) OSHA safety certification Electrical or Mechanical maintenance certification Forklift or other relevant equipment operator certifications What the Role Offers Competitive salary range: $39,520 - $43,680 annually 25% perm placement fee Opportunity to develop hands-on skills and advance in maintenance or technical roles Supportive work environment focused on safety and teamwork Potential for overtime and training opportunities Why Albuquerque?
