ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance and operation of the Museum. Works under the supervision of the Museum Director. Works with other Facilities Technician of the Museum Systems. Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public. Supervision is not exercised in this position. Operates a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of the department and the City. Set up and tear down of equipment for events, including exhibits. Cleaning and maintenance of Museum and related facilities including changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes; sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, shampooing, steam cleaning, striping, waxing, polishing, and buffing floors, carpets, and furniture, etc.; dumps ash cans and garbage and reline cans with liners; cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies; cleans spills; cleans drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, blinds, light fixtures, etc; washes windows, walls, metal and woodwork. Maintains and cleans back terrace (including blowing debris off with blower) for events and weddings. Picks up litter and trash from around buildings and grounds. Operates lighting and sound equipment, including lighting dimmer system, spotlights and focus and gel of theatrical lighting instruments, for events at the Museum and other related facilities. Maintain high degree of public contact. Performs minor maintenance on equipment. Periodically assists in preparation and serving of food for events. Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position is subject to the City's Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Program.
This includes:
pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return-to-duty testing, and follow-up testing. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for the past three years or state of current residency. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Knowledge of building maintenance including housekeeping and janitorial procedures and ability to operate the related equipment. Knowledge of janitorial products and application procedures to ensure public safety. Ability to make minor repairs to facilities, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions. Ability to work in stressful situations with members of the public, outside production crews and casts, as well as other City employees. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other City personnel and the public. Ability to operate tools and equipment listed. Extensive background checks required. This position has the responsibility to participate in and comply with the City's Environmental, Health, and Safety program.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Theater equipment including lighting, test and sound engineering equipment. Janitorial equipment including vacuums, mops, brooms, dusting equipment, floor machines, burnishers and various hand and power tools including hammers, power saws and drills, motor vehicle, telephone, mobile radio and calculator.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must be able to climb to heights of 30' or higher in order to hang lighting and sound equipment. The employee must have the ability to climb ladders, trusses and rock formations. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. DUTIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees (including children), officials, and all members of the general public. Works as front-line person at Sandstone Amphitheater, The Farmington Civic Center, or The Totah Theatre. Performs such house front duties as ensuring that portions of the theater are ready to open, and that theater aisles are ready for public access. Maintains cleanliness of facility at Sandstone Amphitheater, including the dining plaza, amphitheater seating area, and rest rooms. Performs cleanup duties as may be required during the operation of the amphitheater, including proper cleanup of bio-hazardous materials during the outdoor summer production. Responsible for ticket, food and gift shop, must be able to count change in the performance of these duties. Assists the public by distributing playbills, answering questions, providing for any special needs of disabled persons in seating, food service, or any other public use of the facility. Assists the public in case of illness. Receives complaints which may come from the public at the work locations. Channels complaints to other City employees as necessary. Performs setup, preparation, serving and cleaning duties for concession sales before curtain and during intermissions. Assists Food Service Manager in presenting food for service of up to 600 patrons in a limited time, at the Wilderness Park Amphitheater, Civic Center and Totah Theatre. Works out of doors and indoors in all types of weather conditions. Extensive walking, and occasional running, throughout the rugged terrain of the six-acre Sandstone complex, the Civic Center and Totah Theatre will be required. Directs traffic to appropriate parking spaces. Attendance at work is an essential function of this position. JOB DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Works under the close supervision of the Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent or Lead Mechanic. Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public. Assist in training vehicle maintenance new hires. Operates a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of the department and the City. Performs semi-skilled, skilled work in maintaining the vehicles in the City's fleet and mechanical equipment of the city. Carries out preventive maintenance tasks for all vehicles and mechanical equipment. Operates a variety of diagnostic scan tools and a variety of hand, electric, and air-driven tools. Program vehicle modules with proper tooling. Maintain shop scan tools and update with new software when needed. Tests, services, and repairs vehicles and mechanical equipment. Maintains equipment in vehicle maintenance shop. Inspects, adjusts and replaces necessary units and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work. Repairs brake, engine, electrical, fuel, transmission, ignition, air, exhaust, axle assemblies and related systems on all types of equipment. May at times be required to work on hydraulics. Cuts metal and performs related work. Changes, repairs, and dispose of tires properly. Evaluates status of mechanical equipment and vehicles and performs needed repairs. Conducts various analyses and inspections of vehicles and mechanical systems to determine the most cost-effective means of maintenance, repair or replacement. Requisitions equipment, parts, and supplies used for vehicle and mechanical system maintenance. Provides emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate. Maintains records daily; may include the preparation of reports and other specialized maintenance records (e.g. mechanical equipment). Maintain issued purchasing card and associated receipts. Required to be on call for one week and holidays on a rotating schedule. Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
