COMMERCIAL SIGN INSTALLER

Local and Regional Travel Pay:

Competitive and based on experience Sign Design is hiring dependable, experienced commercial sign installers. We manufacture and install channel letters, illuminated sign cabinets, monument signs, pole signs, electronic message centers, vinyl graphics, and other commercial signage. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, arrive on time, work safely and can represent our company professionally at customer locations.

Job Responsibilities:

Install channel letters, cabinet signs, monument signs, pole signs and digital LED displays Operate bucket trucks, trailers, power tools and installation equipment safely Measure, drill, anchor, level and securely mount commercial signage Remove and service existing signs Install LED modules, power supplies and low-voltage sign components Assist with sign surveys, photographs and field measurements Perform basic welding and metal fabrication when needed Read installation drawings and follow job specifications Maintain clean trucks, tools and job sites Communicate with customers, supervisors and other installers Travel to projects throughout West Texas, New Mexico and occasionally other states Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous commercial sign-installation experience Experience operating a bucket truck or crane Knowledge of channel letters, illuminated cabinets and electronic message centers Welding and metal-fabrication experience Electrical sign or low-voltage LED experience Ability to read measurements and construction drawings Experience towing trailers and securing loads CDL, crane certification or electrical credentials are a plus

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to the shop Ability to work at heights and outdoors Ability to lift and carry sign components, tools, and materials Comfortable working from ladders, lifts and bucket trucks Available for occasional overtime, early starts and overnight travel Must be dependable, safety-conscious and able to pass applicable employment screening Must be legally authorized to work in the
